We are working to promote the humane treatment of all animals in our area. We have many projects including adoption, spay/neuter, education, investigation of reports of abuse and neglect, and generally the promotion of the care and welfare of all the animals in our area. We are operated completely through the work of volunteers. Currently, we do not have a shelter. Animals in our care are placed in foster homes until they find their forever homes. The Animal Shelter requires that all potential adopters meet the animal that they are interested in before placing an adoption application to ensure that the adopter and animal are compatiable. After completing an adoption application the shelter director will review and notify adopters of approval to adopt the animal. All of the animals are required to be spayed or neutered prior to placement. We do not ship our animals. The shelter is very rescue friendly and WILL adopt to out of state residents. We are open Tues-Sun from 11am until 3pm and can even arrange evening visits if you are serious about adopting. All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption form for any cat or dog they are interested in adopting.
